Volunteer

We’re working to build a strong community of volunteers who make an impact on local families every day. There are so many ways that you can help. Whether you can only give 10 minutes a month, or more, we’re glad you’re here. We serve individuals and families in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln counties in Oregon. Additionally, many volunteers can help us remotely, so you don’t have to be near our office, or meeting locations.

How can you help?

We learn new & different skills that we can then practice how to use in a safe strength-based environment. Many of our volunteers are grateful to have this opportunity to give back.

Are you looking for ways to give back to the community? We’re looking for diverse volunteers to serve our diverse communities. Please let us know if you need information regarding any special accommodations.

How do you become a volunteer?

To become a volunteer, we ask that you attend a Volunteer Orientation, which lasts for 90 minutes. The orientation will cover One2Another boundaries, organizational policies, an overview of services, and explore what would be the right fit for you.

There are ongoing volunteer meetings, but these are not required for individuals outside of the leadership positions (peer support or facilitators). If you’re in one of these positions, but you’re not able to attend a meeting due to scheduling, please contact us and we’ll do our best to find a solution.

If you would like to learn more about becoming a volunteer, but you’re not ready to attend orientation, we’re happy to speak with you to answer questions and understand what you would feel comfortable doing.

If you’re interested in learning more, click on the “I’m Interested” button and someone will reach out to you.
