Who We Support

One2Another helps support children, families, and individuals in our area who struggle with behavior and mental health struggles. We provide parenting support groups in Albany, Corvallis, Lebanon, and Sweet Home. We are also working to expand into the surrounding areas. Making these groups available in our area has helped our families and the families we serve feel supported and the children to feel accepted which has reduced the need for emergency or agency involvement in many cases.

What to Expect

At many of our parenting groups, we provide child activities where our children get to socialize and practice appropriate social skills, while experiencing the same skills individuals learn in the groups. This is important for the entire family because struggling with behavior or mental health challenges is often isolating. You can sign up for as many sessions as you would like. Thanks to our amazing sponsors and volunteers, each session is free!

A Place for Everyone

We strive to be an accepting, strength-based place where families feel supported.

While these groups are focused on parenting, the lessons learned in them are very helpful to individuals as well. For some, the groups give insight into how to better parent their inner child that perhaps wasn’t raised with empathy or has not had their needs met. The techniques taught are also useful in general communication with anyone, adult, or child. The socialization provided by being involved with a group, provides social recovery as well which has been shown to help people in the areas of work, education, and recreation, and is a considerable factor in recovering from addiction or mental illness.
